In a week, there are 168 hours – I have a full-time job, which I have to add a 2 hour commute to the time, a three-bedroom house to look after, a husband and of course my jewellery making. Plus, socialising and trying to get to the gym 3 times a week. Goodness only knows what’s going to happen when we add a baby to the equation!
I love trying to organise everything, trying to fit in as much as I can. My husband and I now have a shared calendar on our phones (I’m improving already on the technology side of things!) to keep track on what we have going on.
One thing I love is writing lists, but I always seem to struggle to keep to them, usually something else crops up or I just can’t be bothered. I have a list written down on the time frames of adding jewellery to my site, whether it works like that, I really don’t know.
I watched a blog the other day on Ted Talks – Time Management. Writer, author and speaker Laura Vanderkam talks about how people spend their time and how it could be better managed, helping on how to find more time.
This really made me think about my time and the hours I have for me! So, this Friday evening, I’m going to try Laura’s idea on writing down the following weeks’ plan and see how I get on 😊
